Amy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and co-owner of Believe in Therapy Geneva

As practicing owner of Believe, North Carolina native Amy McMillan counsels a wide range of clients seeking to improve their quality of life through overall mental wellness. A Nationally Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor Amy is a graduate of NC State University’s Psychology, Sociology and Counseling programs.

Through an eclectic approach based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation techniques, guided imagery and art therapy, she offers individual, family and blended family therapy.

Amy has conducted workshops on Anxiety and Stress Reduction, Acquaintance Rape and Healthy Body Image. She has been a guest speaker at several conferences and provides consulting to colleagues on how to start and maintain a successful private practice, as well as providing supervision to provisional therapists seeking licensure.
